Achau-location of Wildenhofer is used to its full capacity
New location of Wildenhofer forwarding company in eastern Austria offers numerous additional services to its customers The concentration of the Wildenhofer Group’s transport and logistics services at the location in Achau, which have so far been handled at three locations in Greater Vienna, enters its final phase. In the second quarter the facility in the south of Vienna that was built with a total investment of EUR 13 million has reached full utilisation of its capacities. With this new orientation in Austria the service portfolio can be largely expanded and thus customers can be offered additional new services of best quality, the management of the traditional Salzburg-based forwarding group announces in a press release. On a 36,500 square metres site in Achau Wildenhofer has built a complex for throughput and storage of goods and a 1,800 sq. m. office building. The logistics hall has a covered area of 12,600 sq. m. and provides a capacity for 22,000 pallets. The facility can be heated or cooled as well. According to company statements the use of state-of-the-art equipment guarantees a quick and safe handling of the logistics processes. |
