Agility appointed exclusive forwarder for Gunnebo in China
Agility has been appointed by Gunnebo as the exclusive forwarder for all its transport flows from China to Europe. Agility has handled Gunnebo’s road freight in Europe and project logistics in emerging markets like Latin America and Africa since 2009. As part of the extension of this strategic partnership, Agility now manages Gunnebo’s freight deliveries from China to Europe via air, sea and combined sea/air routes. The cooperation with Agility allows Gunnebo to consolidate shipments from China, simplify the logistics administration and cut costs through higher volumes. This collaboration with an exclusive partner with an integrated business solutions approach also results in the optimisation of Gunnebo’s entire supply chain operations across continents, enhances cost transparency and deploys new monitoring and track-and-trace tools for efficient process control.
