Air Canada increases capacity ex Frankfurt and Munich

Boeing 777-300 jets replace Airbus A330 on some routes served by Air Canada from Frankfurt and Munich to North America

Air Canada has substantially increased capacity on some of its routes from Frankfurt am Main and Munich. Deploying larger jets the airline responds to the continuous growth in demand for flights towards Canada.

Therefore Boeing 777-300 will be used instead of Airbus A330 on the flight from Frankfurt am Main to Calgary and on the afternoon flight to Toronto until the end of the summer schedule. In May the flights from Frankfurt to Ottawa and from Munich to Toronto will be served with Triple Seven instead of A330.

Air Canada is Canada’s leading airline and a founding member of the Star Alliance airline grouping. The offer from Germany includes daily nonstop flights from Frankfurt to Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary and Vancouver as well as from Munich to Montreal and Toronto. Air Canada is currently operating more than 350 aircraft, serving more than 175 destinations worldwide, 60 of them in Canada and 49 in the United States.
