Air Charter Service saw a record business year in 2013

Air Charter Service carried more than 30,000 tonnes of air freight in 2013

Air Charter Service (ACS), a leading aircraft charter specialist, has seen a record financial year in 2013. The company saw a year on year 14% rise in charter contracts completed to around 7,500 charters. This means more than 230,000 passengers. In addition, the company carried more than 30,000 tonnes of air freight during the reporting period.

Ruan Courtney, Group Managing Director, commented: “The figure is an impressive number considering a large number of our aircraft charters are on smaller private jets that carry only a handful of people or cargo aircraft transporting freight.” ACS turned over more than USD 420 million last year (Feb 1st -Jan 31st). This year has had a positive start as well, Courtney added.

Founded in the UK in 1990, Air Charter Service (ACS) counts among the leading providers of passenger and freight chartering. The globally operating enterprise headquartered in London serves the three business segments Commercial, Executive and Cargo Charter. In addition to their headquarters in London ACS operates 17 locations worldwide, including Dubai, Johannesburg, Moscow, New York, Paris, Hong Kong and Sao Paulo, and has more than 280 employees.
