Americana International charges Logwin with further tasks

Logistics service provider Logwin also assumes responsibility for webshop logistics for customers of the Bench fashion label in 22 European countries
 
Americana International Ltd., the exclusive distribution partner for the Bench fashion label, and the logistics service provider Logwin have further intensified their collaboration. Logwin now also processes incoming orders to the Bench webshop. The website went live for private customers in Germany in March, and the webshop has been available for customers in 22 European countries since July. Logwin has set up an international call centre as a service point for webshop users.
 
Customers from almost all European countries can order Bench jackets, trousers, T-shirts or fashion accessories from bench-clothing.com. Orders are received directly at Logwin’s location in Nuremberg, where the logistics specialist operates Bench’s European central warehouse. Logwin employees pick the fashion articles and pack them in protective bags or flat boxes. An external service provider is responsible for deliveries to private customers. Orders that reach Logwin by 2 p.m. are shipped the same day. Logwin currently processes a total of around 400 online orders each week. Logwin processes the returned goods at the distribution centre in Nuremberg.
 
Americana and Logwin have been collaborating since 2009. Logwin provides warehousing, various value added services and distribution of fashion products to wholesalers and retailers for Bench. In the field of procurement, the logistics expert transports e.g. goods from Turkey or UK to Nuremberg, performs individual imports from the Far East and organises customs clearance. Approximately 18,000 m² of space is available in the warehouse in Nuremberg for fashion products. This is where Logwin also performs numerous value added services for Bench such as labeling, repacking as well as price and security tagging. The logistics service provider supplies retailers, retail chains and Bench stores in 18 European countries (Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Poland and Serbia among them) with textiles and accessories from its warehouse in Nuremberg.
