AWT Group strengthens its Ostrava-Paskov terminal

New rail tracks and additional storage capacity for empty containers at the intermodal terminal of AWT Group in Ostrava-Paskov:

The AWT Group’s independent open terminal for intermodal road/rail transport in Ostrava-Paskov, Czech Republic, made an important step to increase its performance. The invested sum of CZK 30 million was committed to new rail tracks and the expansion of the empty container depot from 1,400 to 1,700 TEU capacity. At the inauguration ceremony of the new buildings the management announced their plan to develop additional storage capacity for 800 TEU and the expansion of staff from 18 to 30 employees for 2012.

The AWT Group terminal in Ostrava-Paskov also offers connections from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland to major European ports: Hamburg and Bremerhaven in Germany, Rotterdam in the Netherlands, Koper in Slovenia and Polish seaports.
