Bankruptcy of Bacher Transport
Two transport enterprises are responsible for the biggest insolvency at the Landesgericht Salzburg (regional court) since the beginning of 2009. Based on the application of the companies the bankruptcy proceeding about the assets of Bacher Transport GmbH & Co KG and Bacher Transport GmbH in Gries im Pinzgau was opened last week. According to the Kreditschutzverband from 1870 (KSV), an association for the protection of creditors, the assets according to the balance from April 30, 2008, amounted to EUR 3.365 million. The liabilities amount to EUR 5.005 million. The insolvency affects around 200 creditors and 32 employees. Detailed information concerning the chances to continue the enterprise was not available until last Friday. The petition for bankruptcy did not contain any information either.
