Berger Logistik plans to build new headquarters in Tyrol

Headquarters of Berger Logistik GmbH in Radfeld is bursting at the seams; additional building in the city centre of Wörgl to improve the situation

The positive business development of the past years has led to an increasing number of staff at the company headquarters of Berger Logistik GmbH in Radfeld, Tyrol. Due to lacking options for expansion the management intends to establish an new building in the centre of Wörgl. The new facility shall accommodate up to 255 employees as soon as the first construction stage will be completed.

The project is ready for take-off. The city of Wörgl was currently negotiating about an object at the former site of the post office at the railway station. The truck fleet will remain excluded from the planned move. If everything works, Berger Logistik wants to move in the three-storey building designed as new headquarters in late 2015 or early 2016, reports the newspaper “Tiroler Tageszeitung”.

Berger Logistik was established in 1961 by Johann Berger. Today the specialising provider of transport, forwarding and logistics services for full and part load transport in Europe and overseas combines all transport modes according to the customers’ requirements. In the 2012 financial year the private company with more than 200 employees generated turnover of EUR 101.6 million. Their fleet consists of about 100 trailer trucks.
