Björk.Eklund Group changes into Greencarrier AB
North European transport and logistics specialist Björk.Eklund Group changed its company name to Greencarrier AB
As a measure to streamline the international market appearance the activities of Björk.Eklund Group were joined under a new brand name effective 1 February 2012. As of now the majority of the group’s divisions will also change their brand names to Greencarrier AB. Only the Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics division will maintain a separate identity. CEO Björn Eklund expects the decision to consolidate the company’s brands under one name to boost the global profile and new business opportunities.
Greencarrier AB headquartered in Gotenborg, Sweden, in its new organisational structure is divided into Greencarrier Freight Services, Greencarrier Liner Agency (represents the container shipping company Evergreen Line in Scandinavia/Baltic States) and Scandinavian Shipping & Logistics. The group of companies has about 650 employees at its branches in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, UK, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine and China. In the 2010 financial year they generated a turnover at EUR 317 million.
