BREAKING NEWS: Hanjin vessel and crew rescued
Hanjin has released a statement saying that the 6,500 TEU Hanjin Tianjin and its 20-man crew have been rescued by the Korean warship, Choi Young, and its special force. The Hanjin Tianjin was heading for Singapore when it was attacked by pirates at approximately 05h15 today (Korea time) near the Gulf of Aden. The container ship’s crew stopped the engine to hold the ship and hid in the citadel to protect themselves during the two attacks. The Hanjin Tianjin sustained some damage in both attacks.
