CEVA secures €6m contract with Mazda UK

CEVA Logistics has been awarded a three-year, €6 million contract to manage Mazda’s nationwide distribution of aftermarket vehicle parts.

The aftermarket parts will be delivered via CEVA’s shared-user automotive network.

The solution enhances the service levels provided to Mazda dealerships, providing consolidated roll cage deliveries that will reduce potential damage to the products and maintain quality standards.

Key to the successful operation of the service will be CEVA’s In Cab Asset Management track and trace system, which monitors all transactions and movement of roll cages, including all returns and reverse logistics. Dealers will be provided with a web-based system to handle enquiries, dealer warranty and returns tracking.

Parts are distributed from Mazda’s National Distribution Centre at Staplehurst in Kent and delivered through the night to 140 UK locations for more than 180 dealerships, five nights a week.

CEVA also works with Mazda managing the distribution of spare parts throughout Italy.
