ProLogis confirms merger talks with AMB

ProLogis and AMB Property Corporation are in discussions regarding a potential merger of the two companies.

Such a merger would combine ProLogis and AMB in an all-stock, at-market transaction, based on the unaffected trading prices of the two companies‘ stock prior to media reports of a possible merger.

ProLogis points out that there can be no assurance that any discussions regarding a merger will result in a definitive agreement for such a transaction or the timing of such agreement or any transaction.

Both companies said they would make no further comment regarding their discussions or negotiations unless and until a definitive agreement is reached or discussions are terminated.

ProLogis is a global provider of distribution facilities, with more than 435 million square feet of industrial space owned and managed in markets across North America, Europe and Asia.

Focused on major hub and gateway distribution markets in the Americas, Europe and Asia, AMB owns or has investments in properties and development projects expected to total approximately 158.4 million square feet in 49 markets in fifteen countries.
