Change in the Management Board of Deutsche Binnenreederei

New organisation of the management structures within Deutsche Binnenreederei AG in Berlin

A change has taken place on the management level of the Deutsche Binnenreederei AG (DBR). With immediate effect Piotr Chajderowski (40) is holding the position of the Chairman of the Management Board of the company.

His tasks comprise the fields strategy, personal and finances. Christian Lunk (34) is subordinate to him as a new Sales Manager with procuration. Thomas Seider (43) is in charge of marketing and operation as before. The

previous chairman Sebastian Dziadek and Georg Seidel, previously in charge of finance and administration, are leaving the committee by mutual consent.

Piotr Chajderowski was active as an investment manager for several Polish enterprises, before he joined Odratrans S.A. as Vice Chairman of the Management Board in July 2009. He still keeps this function in personal

union in addition to his position as DBR Chairman. Berlin-born Christian Lunk has been working for DBR since 2002 in the controlling division, which he manages since 2005.

DBR (Berlin) is affiliated to the Odratrans group based in Breslau (Wrocław). The core business of the group are logistics services for the river shipping industry. Throughout Europe more than 1,000 vessels (more than 900 units thereof owned by themselves) with a total capacity of more than 540,000 tons are operating in the colours of Odratrans. The majority shareholder of the group is the financial investor Fundusz Mistral from Warsaw. The operating range of their subsidiaries in Poland, Germany and the Netherlands covers the inland waterways between the rivers Elbe, Rhine, Main and Danube; Oder, Vistula and Weser and to the Belgian and Dutch Rhine estuary ports.
