CMA CGM launches 12th Asia-Europe liner service
FAL5 service of the container shipping company CMA CGM on its premiere tour between Asia and Europe Under the short name FAL5 (French Asia Line) the Marseille-based container shipping company CMA CGM has started the 12th liner service from Asia to Europe and return. The new string is based on a cooperation with Maersk Line. Both enterprises bring in five vessels, each providing 13,000 TEU capacity to the service. They serve the following port rotation: Ningbo, Shanghai, Yantian, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Kelang, Le Havre, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Port Kelang, Singapore, Ningbo. CMA CGM has been operating regular services on the routes connecting Asia and Europe since 1986. Today their portfolio comprises 12 loops with weekly departures.
