China Shipping about to enter Austrian market under its own name
Shipping company China Shipping Container Lines sets up its own branch in Vienna after having lost its partner „Meridian“
Following the banktruptcy of the longstanding partner Reedereikontor „Meridian“, the shipping group China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) is setting up its own structures for sales and marketing of its liner services in Austria and Central Europe. They will immediately establish their own branch in Vienna and continue business operations with the staff of the „Meridian“ company, as CSCL Europe-marketing manager Jörn Ahrens confirms to the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung. The emerging China Shipping Container Lines office will serve the following markets: Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic and Poland. The location will report to China Shipping Agency (Germany) GmbH in Hamburg. China Shipping Container Lines is a worldwide leading container shipping company and is currently ranked 5th among the top 100 of the shipping enterprises. The company serves the regions Far East, Australia, US, Mexico, South America, North Africa, Middle East, Red Sea and Indian Subcontinent.
