Chris Kent assumes management of Panprojects forwarding company

Panalpina appoints Chris Kent their new Global Head of international project business activities

A personal change is to take place at the mangement level of Panprojects, a 100% Panalpina subsidiary. Chris Kent assumes the function of Global Head. The Brisith citizen succeeds Heinz Zech who decided to pursue new professional challenges outside of the Panalpina Group. Kent has been working for Panalpina since 2002, lately as Divisional Director Panprojects UK.

Panprojects is Panalpina’s division for special projects. The enterprise provides worldwide, integrated, ready to use logistics solutions and management services to its customers from the mechanical and construction engineering industry. More specialities of the company are solutions for the mining and energy industry, as well as for producers of over-sized and heavy freight. Around 300 skilled staff at 37 strategic locations throughout the world coordinate the control and handling of all related processes. Panalpina-CEO Monika Ribar sees great potential for profitable growth in the international project business in spite of the strong position of Panprojects.
