Christian Teichmann is the new Director of Scania Austria

Manufacturer of utility vehicles Scania puts the management of its Austrian branch into new hands
 
Christian Teichmann (44) is the new Director of Scania Austria. He holds a degree in business administration and was active as Sales Director for trucks with Scania Germany Austria since April 2008, until he changed to Scania Austria’s headquarters. He succeeds Björn Speer, who has been Director of Scania Austria since May 2006. Mr. Speer leaves the company by mutual consent. Scania Austria based in Brunn am Gebirge registered 781 new trucks last year. Turnover amounted to EUR 130 million.
 
Christian Teichmann started his professional career with Scania Germany in the mid-1990ies, first as Marketing Assistent, later on as Key Account Manager and Manager of Scania’s fleet management division. Between 2001 and 2003 he was in charge of the retail operations of Scania Frankfurt/Offenbach as Regional Director. After his period at Volkswagen AG he returned to Scania and became Managing Director of Scania Hungary. Afterwards Teichmann held the position of the Sales and Marketing Director of Scania Spain, before he changed to Scania Germany Austria in 2008.
