CMA CGM starting direct service from Japan to Mediterranean Sea

Japan about to be integrated into MEX service of CMA CGM 

 

The French shipping line CMA CGM is expanding its MEX service from Asia to the Mediterranean v. v. to Japan. As of the mid of May Nagoya, Yokohama and Kobe will be integrated into the schedule. This provides new opportunities for Japanese customers to directly ship to the Mediterranean Sea, as the Management announced in a press release. The hubs in Malta and Damietta are already offering feeder connections to ports in the Adriatic Sea, in the eastern Mediterranean Sea and the Black Sea. 

CMA CGM will deploy 10 container vessels, each offering a capacity of about 5,700 TEU, in the MEX service. The port rotation is Nagoya, Yokohama, Kobe, Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Xiamen, Chiwan, Hong Kong, Port Kelang, Beirut, Malta, Valencia, Barcelona, Fos, Genoa, Naples, Malta, Damietta, Djibouti, Khorfakkan, Port Kelang, Chiwan, Nagoya.
