Cooperation of CSCL and Evergreen Line
CSCL and Evergreen Line forming partnership on 4 trades The container shipping companies China Shipping Container Lines (CSCL) and Evergreen Line are joining their forces on selected trades. In a press release the companies announced a cooperation on the following routes: Asia-Europe, Asia-Mexico-US East Coast and Asia-US West Coast. Both sides expect the cooperation to raise efficiency and to improve services. As for the Asia-Europe route the “China North Europe-Service“ will be affected by the cooperation. The loop operated by the Evergreen Line named CEM and the loop operated by CSCL named AEX 1 will deploy 8 vessels of 8,000 TEU capacity each, starting on June 17. Departure point of the liner service will be Qingdao. Further stations are in Shanghai, Ningbo, Felixstowe, Hamburg, Rotterdam, Zeebrugge, Hong Kong and Qingdao.
