Intercontinental cooperation between Rhenus and Kamino
| Kamino is new partner of Rhenus Freight Logistics for U.S. Rhenus Group expands its service portfolio in the U.S.. In May the business unit Freight Logistics started a partnership with Kamino, an American provider of logistics services. Kamino operates twelve locations in the U.S.: in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York (JFK), Newark, Miami, Portland, San Francisco, Seattle and Washington DC. Analogous to Rhenus, Kamino offers the whole range of logistics services: air freight, sea freight, land transportations, distribution, US domestic traffic, warehousing, supply chain management and value added services. Kamino is a licensed customs house broker. Its special feature is the remote location filing, a pilot project of the U.S. customs authorities, which allows electronic customs clearance of importations throughout the United States, regardless of the consignment’s destination. The transatlantic partnership provides all Rhenus houses access to a dense and varied logistics network in the U.S..
