Cooperation of TNT and Con-way Freight
The globally acting express operator TNT and Con-way Freight are starting a partnership to improve handling of consignments in the traffic between Europe and the United States of America. TNT will feed the “Economy Express“ freight consignments, going to destinations in the U.S., into the Road Express Network of Con-way Freight. TNT in turn takes over distribution of Con-way consignments in Europe. According to a press release of the two enterprises the new partnership provides users of the “Economy Express“ service access to a cost-effective service concept for door-to-door transports taking between 3 and 6 days. TNT’s Express Road Network comprises 35 countries in Europe.
