Wim Bosman Romania provides logistics for Procter & Gamble

Consumer goods producer Procter & Gamble and Wim Bosman start cooperation in eastern Romania

On 5 July 2010 the Romanian company of the Wim Bosman group started operating a distribution centre for the plant in Urlati, near Ploiesti, by order of Procter & Gamble. The transport and logistics service provider manages the logistics processes for P&G based on the recently signed 3 year contract. The tasks include warehousing of finished products and transport services to and from P&G’s new production plant.

Wim Bosman is present in Romania since 1992 and operates a 10,000 sq. m. warehouse and modern office facilities in the Ploiesti Industrial Park. The cooperation with Procter & Gamble is a step of expanding their market presence. Backed by a European network for customer oriented and integrated warehousing, transport and distribution services combined with a global air & sea freight network, they provide services along the complete logistics supply chain to many customers.

Wim Bosman group was founded in 1963 and has now over 1,800 employees at 16 branches in 7 countries, with a total warehousing area of more than 340,000 square metres. Their fleet comprises 1,500 own transport units.
