Direct service from Kabul to Vienna International Airport

Afghan Airline Kam Air connects Kabul with a direct flight to Europe from August

As from 3 August 2010 the Afghan airline Kam Air introduces a direct flight from Vienna to Kabul to its schedule. Three flights will be available per week. Flight days will be Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. The aircraft, a Boeing 767, starts its journey to Kabul at 11.30 am from Vienna.

“A destination that has been difficult to reach can now be visited in an easy way“, Herbert Kaufmann, Spokesman of the Management Board of the Flughafen Wien AG, says gladly. Vienna is the first destination in Europe to be directly served by Kam Air. The Afghan airline was established in 2003. The international destinations served by Kam Air from Kabul include Dubai, Islamabad and New Delhi.
