Wildenhofer: Upgrade for food logistics
| Successful HACCP certification of Wildenhofer and Online Systemlogistik The transport and logistics division of the Wildenhofer group (Salzburg) consolidates its position within the food logistics market segment. In a press release the Management announced the introduction of a hygiene management system according to HACCP requirements. Preparations for the hygiene certification made together with the general cargo cooperation Online Systemlogistik took about one year. The parties concerned expect this step to bring high quality standards and also competitive advantages. Hygiene management requires meeting strict guidelines. The condition for the certification is the conduct of a HACCP survey including risk analysis and training basic knowledge about vehicle/personal hygiene and pest control. Moreover the companies are oblieged to participate regularly in hygiene trainings, as well as to have an annual control of the HACCP guidelines and processes in the form of internal and external audits.
