New German location of Universal Transport

Universal Transport location in Rostock puts focus on eastern Europe and Scandinavia

The network of the Universal Transport company group has a new location in their domestic market Germany. On 21 June a new location was opened in the hanseatic city Rostock. The Management of the branch lies in the hands of Wolfgang Wilhelm. “Mister Wilhelm is an expert in the field of heavy transport with a special focus on Eastern Europe and Scandinavia traffic. Therefore we are able to offer ferry connections“, the Management writes in a press release.

Universal Transport based in Paderborn (Germany) is according to their own statements a leading provider in the following segments: heavy haulage, special, silo and bulk good transportations in Europe. Their 400 employees at locations in Germany, the Czech Republic, Poland and Romania attend to customers from the building industry, large/rail vehicles, wind energy and industry. For 2009 they posted a turnover at the amount of EUR 86 million. The fleet consists of around 390 units.
