Ceva Logistics recorded strong growth in financial year 2008

The Management of Ceva Logistics is hoping for a stronger trend towards outsourcing logistics services. During the first two months of this year the specialist for supply chain solutions and freight management also felt the consequences of the current global economic crisis. However, the growing cost and results pressure at many enterprises might bring a positive turn, as the group’s headquarters hope.

Ceva Logistics emerged in August 2007 from the merger of TNT Logistics and EGL (Eagle Global Logistics). In the financial year 2008 the enterprise had 50,000 employees at locations in more than 100 countries and achieved a turnover of EUR 6.3 billion. Earnings before taxes and exceptional items amounted to EUR 320 million.
