Dachser adds new location in Nanjing to its location network in the Yangtse River region
The internationally acting logistics service provider Dachser opens a new location in Nanjing, thereby expanding its location network in the Yangtse river delta. “Cities along the Yangtse river register enormous growth of producing and processing industries. Therefore there is a strong demand for logistics services“, says Thomas Reuter, Managing Director Dachser Air & Sea Logistics. Including Nanjing, Dachser is now present at 18 locations in China and Taiwan.
From Nanjing they will serve the region with air and sea freight services, including the metropolises Yangzhou, Zhenjiang, Wuhu, Nantong, Zhangjiagang, Wuhan and Yichang. Nanjing is the capital of the Jiangsu province and has about 5.5 million inhabitants. The city is the central traffic hub of the Yangtse river delta, with the biggest river port in the People’s Republic of China. The Nanjing Lukou International airport is ranked 10th as to freight volume in China.
