Daco Logistics obtains WCA-award

 
World Cargo Alliance selected Daco Logistics as “Best European Partner 2008”

Daco Logistics GmbH is the first Austrian enterprise to obtain the “Best European Partner” award from the World Cargo Alliance (WCA). The freight forwarding company based in Vienna received the prize for its performances rendered in 2008. Mrs. Claudia Lederhofer accepted the award from WCA-president David Yokeum in February in Bangkok (Thailand) at the annual conference of the WCA Familiy of Logistics Networks.

World Cargo Alliance was established in 1998 with the aim to provide a solid basis for global transactions of small and medium-sized freight forwarding enterprises – in particular against the background of a more and more difficult market and the continuous expansion of multinational large-scale enterprises. The alliance has a global network currently comprising nearly 1,100 offices of small and medium sized freight forwarding companies.

Since its establishment in 1996 Daco Logistics evolved into a specialist for air and sea freight services from and to Austria and Central and Eastern Europe. The enterprise has 8 employees and offers a very individual service. Its membership in the WCA secures the global connections necessary for overseas forwarding transactions. Joachim Ley is the Managing Director of Daco Logistics.
