DB Schenker opens new logistics terminal in Skopje
Macedonia national company of DB Schenker gives itself a new logistics facility as a present for its tenth anniversary:
Schenker DOOEL is operating a new logistics terminal near Macedonian capital Skopje since a few days ago. The terminal covers an area of 8,200 m² with about 1,600 m² warehouse for cross-docking; up to 700 pallet positions are available for storage. With this new building DB Schenker wants to consolidate its leading position in the market for transport and logistics services in Macedonia.
Headed by Zoran Lazoroski, Country Manager, Schenker DOOEL celebrates its tenth anniversary these days. The enterprise acts as a full range forwarding service provider in the segments land transport (truck, railway), air/sea freight, customs, warehousing logistics and distribution. 35 persons are employed at the headquarters in Skopje and the sales office in Kosovo. However, this team shall increase to 50 employees on the medium term.
