Logistics by DB Schenker Austria for 344 ÖSV athletes
This year, the starting signal for the World Cup season was traditionally the summer clothing of the ÖSV athletes. The venue was the DB Schenker office in Kufstein, where for the first time the entire squad of the Austrian Ski Association met for the season opener. A total of 344 athletes of nine different disciplines (alpine skiing, ski jumping, nordic combined, cross-country skiing, biathlon, ski cross, snowboard, freeski and disabled sports) were equipped with training clothing by Under Armor at the premises of the long-term logistics partner.
“For more than 11 years, we have been able to support the ÖSV in all its worldwide races and training camps, as well as in traditional events, such as summer clothing. We are very proud of this long-standing partnership, as it proves that we can meet the demanding requirements of high-performance athletes quickly and reliably, on any occasion and in any season,” says a delighted Helmut Schweighofer, CEO at DB Schenker in Austria and Southeastern Europe the successful cooperation.

After the Olympic Games, a World Cup year is on the schedule. A special highlight for the ÖSV is of course the Nordic World Championships in Seefeld. Especially during high-intensity summer training, it is important for our athletes to be able to fall back on highly functional training clothing,” said the sports director of the ÖSV.
