Delphi gives Above & Beyond Award 2012 to Gefco

Gefco receives award from globally operating automotive supplier Delphi for innovative solutions for transport and contract logistics
 
The Gefco group has obtained the Above & Beyond Award 2012 from Delphi Automotive. The award, being presented for seven years, honours outstanding performances, that the award winners have delivered beyond contractual obligations during the year previous to the presentation of the award.
 
"Our suppliers contribute in many ways to the development and success of Delphi, in particular through their dedicated work in the field of lean management, with projects to increase productivity, or innovative processes that help accelerating sales process," said Sidney Johnson, vice president of global supply management at Delphi.
 
Emmanuel Arnaud, director of sales in the wholesale division of Gefco, accepted the award on behalf of the company, with the following words: "Gefco is very proud to be recognised as a reliable and committed partner again. This award honours our ability to develop innovative solutions in the areas of transport and contract logistics for Delphi, and surpass requirements with regard to service, delivery, quality and competitiveness. "
