Den Hartogh Liquid Logistics expands in Eastern Europe

Den Hartogh takes over division of Extar B.V.
 

Den Hartogh Group consolidates its commitment in the field of bulk liquid transports in Eastern Europe. The Den Hartogh Liquid Logistics division takes over handling activities and employees at the locations in St. Petersburg, Moscow and Ukraine from the insolvent Extar B.V. (Rotterdam). The transaction will be effected by mutual agreement with the liquidator. The acquisition will enlarge the tank container fleet of Den Hartogh Liquid Logistics from 800 units to around 3,000 units and consolidates the company’s position in Russia and Ukraine.

Den Hartogh Liquid Logistics manages European-wide liquid goods transportations for the chemical industry. The division of Den Hartogh Logistics, based in Oss in the Netherlands, generated a turnover of EUR 200 million last year.
