DHL delivers cars for Formula E race

DHL has delivered 40 electric racing cars and related equipment to London for the final race of the FIA Formula E Championship.

Over the past ten months, DHL’s Global Forwarding Motorsports team has been responsible for delivering the cars to the ten cities that have hosted the season’s 11 races.

The 2015 FIA Formula E Visa London ePrix will see the final two races of the inaugural series produce the first Formula E Championship winner on a unique and specially created 15-turn, 2.92km circuit in Battersea Park.

Phil Couchman, CEO of DHL Express UK, said: “Over the past 10 months we have worked hard to deliver the first series of the championship in the most sustainable way possible.”
