DHL Express Austria expands its location in Lower Austria

DHL Express Austria enlarges its headquarters and terminal in Guntramsdorf with about 5 Mio. Euro

The specialist for express delivery DHL Express (Austria) expands its express terminal in Guntramsdorf (Lower Austria). In addition to setting up a fully automated sorting facility with a throughput capacity of 4,000 parcels per hour, an additional loading and unloading area is added to the company building. The expansion is to be finalised by the end of May 2011.

Wolfgang P. Albeck, DHL Express Country Manager Austria, expects these reconstructions and expansions to upgrade the location with respect to organisation. “From the end of May 2011 our current Viennese office will be relocated to a new ‚City Office’. All other company divisions – except for sales and customer service – will be moved to Guntramsdorf.“ From currently 600 employees of DHL Express in Austria, 200 will then do their job in the regional district Mödling.
