DHL Express‘ Collect & Return after-sales service for the high technology sector to be expanded across 12 European countries:

DHL Express expands the operating range of its after sales service for the high technology sector to twelve European countries. Established in Germany, the Collect & Return service is now available in United Kingdom, France, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Czech Republic, Hungary, Sweden, Finland and Italy. It guarantees an efficient and easy to use process for the handling of after-sales processes, such as collection, throughput and transport of damaged or faulty mobile phones and laptops, smartphones, digital cameras, tablet pcs or game consoles. Further expansion in coverage and capabilities of DHL Collect & Return is planned for the rest of 2011.

DHL Collect & Return manages the entire cycle, from the collection of damaged or faulty goods and their packaging, handling of the international transportation to a designated repair location and returns them back to the end consumer. The basis is a web based DHL Express Logistics Platform (ELP) – ensuring visibility across multiple legs for different users.
