Dietrich-Honold: Large-scale expansion in Romania
Joint Venture Dietrich-Honold S.R.L. expands its location in Timisoara by 100 staff and 30,000 m² warehousing space
The joint venture of Honold Logistik and Dietrich Logistik in Romania follows a course of expansion. In a press release Dietrich-Honold S.R.L. announces the expansion of its presence in Timisoara by 30.000 m² to a total of 40,000 m² logistics space. This involves also a staff increase by 100 employees to 150 persons. The medium-term goal is to employ more than 500 persons. The expansion required therefore is explained with the positive development in Eastern Europe.
Honold Logistik has been cooperating in Romania with the logistics enterprise Dietrich Logistik, the local market leader, since 2005. This company has been operating in the Southeast European country since 1984 and operates currently seven locations. Dietrich Logistik is operating worldwide in the segments warehousing, truck traffic, air/sea freight and contract logistics.
