The Dr. Ignaz Fiala insurance company is mourning the loss of Mr. Wolfgang Fiala. The expert for liability questions concerning forwarding and freight carriers, who was known far beyond Austria, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on 29 November.
 
“Wolfgang Fiala had been heading the Vienna-based traditional insurance company for many years, showing his personal commitment, circumspection and competence. He continued his father’s tradition, who was the founder of the company, and as a longtime companion he always stood for the needs and concerns of the customers from the transport industry", the current management of the insurance office Dr. Ignaz Fiala GmbH says with regret.
 
Dr. Ignaz Fiala founded the Dr. Ignaz Fiala insurance company in 1947. since 1 January 2003 the insurance companies Allianz Elementar Versicherungs-AG, Wiener Städtische Allgemeine Versicherungs-AG and UNIQA Sachversicherungs-AG have been owning one third of the shares each. The company acts as a full range service provider for logisticians, forwarders and transport enterprises concerning all issues of liability and insurance.
