DPD’s £12m Gloucestershire depot complete

DPD is set to move into a new £12 million distribution centre in South Gloucestershire after the development reached practical completion.

The 68,792 sq ft unit at Vertex Park, Emersons Green, has been developed by Stoford.

Louise Ferguson, general manager of property at DPD, said: “We’re excited that our new centre at Vertex Park has been completed and we’re getting ready to move in. We’ll soon be able to start delivering parcels from here which means we will be able to provide an even higher level of service for customers in this region. State-of-the-art distribution centres like this give us a huge advantage over our competitors in terms of automated efficiency and scale, as well as making sure we have capacity for future growth.

Stoford director Alex Morgan said: “Vertex Park is the perfect location for the delivery company to flourish. It is a prime location providing excellent transport links, as it is adjacent to the M4 motorway.”
