Emirates Airline increases air cargo hold on its Vienna-Dubai flight

Boeing 777-300ER becomes standard aircraft on Emirates Airline’s flights to Vienna – thus expanding the offer for freight forwarders

Emirates Airline doubles their Boeing 777-300ER offer ex Austria: From 16 January 2014 the international airline will also be operating their second daily flight from Vienna to Dubai with a highly modern B777-300ER, replacing the previously deployed Airbus A340-500. The daily evening flight EK126 takes off at 10.05 p.m. in Vienna, and arrives in Dubai at 6.35 a.m. the next morning. The return flight EK125 leaves Dubai at 5.15 p.m., with arrival in Vienna at 8.35 p.m.

“This measure reflects a significant development of Emirates in Austria, and is a clear commitment to Vienna. Apart from customers from Austria, Vienna is also an important airport for passengers and freight forwarders from the neighbouring countries Slovakia, Hungary, Croatia and Slovenia“, says Martin Gross, Director Emirates in Austria. The Boeing 777-300ER offers more than 20 tonnes of air cargo capacity on each flight.

Emirates Airline counts among the fastest-growing international airlines worldwide. The flight operation to Vienna had been launched in 2004. Since March 27, 2011, the Arab airline operates 13 nonstop-flights ex Vienna to their international air hub in Dubai. Their route network covers 137 destinations in 77 countries on six continents.
