Emons takes over stake in Team Freight and ProLok
Emons investing into its further internationalisation and aims to boost its rail cargo acitivites
In line with an age-related succession plan transport and logistics provider Emons is taking over shares of its partner Team Freight A/S in Esbjerg (Denmark), thus strengthening its international orientation and giving a new impetus for international acitivites. The high-performance logistics company shall be entirely taken over by 2018.
Apart from the stake in Team-Freight, Emons acquires also 75 per cent of the shares in the rail company ProLok GmbH. The core competence of the shunting specialist is the first and the last mile at the locations in Duisburg and Hamburg. Through a tight operating cooperation Emons can enhance its rail transport expertise and increases its own operations on the railway. The remaining shares of the company will still be held by the Klewitz family.
