Expansion for SmartWay Logistics and GAC
SmartWay Logistics expands into southeastern Europe; GAC expands its UK network. SmartWay Logistics has opened a new office in Romania, enabling the company to offer its clients additional pan-European, low-cost solutions. The office will leverage SmartWay Logistics‘ core competency in transportation management and will initially offer carrier management services. The new Romanian office in Bucharest enhances SmartWay’s geographical reach from its existing facilities in Utrecht in The Netherlands and Gniezno, near Poznan in Poland. GAC Logistics has expanded its network in the UK with the opening of a new office in Sheffield, the company’s tenth facility in the UK. The new location is part of GAC’s long-term plan to expand its national network, and the company plans to open another eight UK offices during the next two years.
