Far Freight about to open its office in Turkmenistan

CIS specialist Far Freight (Vienna) selects Ashgabad as a location for its first branch abroad
 
Following the move of the company headquarters from Vienna’s 7th district to the Rivergate office complex at Handelskai, Vienna’s 20th district, Far Freight is taking another step to consolidate its position as a specialist in the market segment of CIS transportations. Preparations are being made in Turkmenistan to open the company’s first branch abroad. “The office in Ashgabad is to start operating in the first quarter of 2013.“, Peter Gindl, managing director, says in the interview with the Austrian transport magazine Österreichische Verkehrszeitung. The forwarder expects the staff of the new location to give impetus to improve contacts with customers in this central Asian country.
 
In the past years Far Freight has been expanding systematically its activities as a forwarder specialising on solutions for transport tasks on the CIS routes. Their transports and projects to destinations in Russia, Ukraine, Azerbeijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan are currently accounting for 80 per cent of their total turnover. The number of staff has grown to 18 persons.
