FedEx Express adds early-morning freight delivery

FedEx has announced additional service enhancements to FedEx 2Day A.M. and improvements to FedEx First Overnight.

FedEx Express is adding new services, including FedEx First Overnight Freight and FedEx 2Day A.M, and is also making further enhancements to FedEx First Overnight.

Available from February 28th, the services will provide customers with faster, time-definite shipping options with a money-back guarantee.

FedEx First Overnight Freight offers nationwide early-morning delivery of critical airfreight shipments, with a 09h00 delivery commitment to most markets.

FedEx 2Day A.M. provides a 10h30 delivery commitment to most areas in the US. This service also is available for return shipments. 

FedEx First Overnight offers next-business day delivery as early as 08h00, depending on destination ZIP code and is available throughout all fifty states.  The service includes Saturday delivery. 

From end-February, customers will be able to use FedEx First Overnight and FedEx International First to ship most types of dangerous goods.  For international shipments, this will include shipments inbound to the US from Canada, Europe and Latin America.

FedEx Express On-Call Pickup: FedEx extended the on-call pickup time in 7,000 ZIP codes last month, giving customers an extra hour to prepare last-minute shipments.
