Felbermayr obtains award from voestalpine Steel Division
voestalpine Steel Divsion gives Supplier Award in the category “voestalpine Partnership“ to the Felbermayr corporate group
The voestalpine Steel Division awarded the Felbermayr group as the best supplier in the category "voestalpine Partnership" by the end of September. The prize was now presented on the occasion of the the third "Lieferantentag” (day of the supplier), at the site in Linz.
Horst Felbermayr sees this award as a honour due to the employees of the company: "Thanks to the expertise of our employees and their dedication combined with the variety of technical possibilities we are able to meet the requirements of the voestalpine at a high level," the Managing Director of the Wels-based group said in his initial statement.
On this occasion Horst Felbermayr, senior director, thanked also Wolfgang Schellerer, managing director of the division for transport and lifting equipment, and Peter Linimayr, area manager in charge. Both have been in the company for exactly 30 years, and have thus contributed considerably to the company’s success.
With the Supplier Award the senior director comes full circle in a most personal way. When he was a kid, he and his father have often come to the "Voest" to pick up raw materials. Thus, it was a special joy for him, to take this price as a “baton”. He showed great admiration to the management board, who had formed the former steel plant to an "industrial paradise."
