Final Event for the EU-projects RISING und IRIS II

River shipping projects RISING and IRIS II of the European Commission to present their results on 1 December:

The European projects RISING and IRIS Europe II celebrate their joint final event. “On 1 December 2011, the results will be presented at a joint final event in Duisbug”, the Austrian river shipping association via donau announces in a press release.

Beside presentations on the role and vision of the European Commission for River Information Services (RIS), discussions and live demonstrations of several concrete applications developed within the projects will be presented, “Planning the Transport“ by Industrie Logistik Linz (ILL) or “Tactical Monitoring of the Transport“ of Norddeutsche Wasserweg Logistik (NWL) among them.

Among the panel of presenters are Cor Venema , Prof. Dr. Frank Arendt, Róbert Rafael, Arne Gehlhaar, Mario Sattler und Lukas Seemann. An interactive panel debate will round off the programme.
