First woman in operations management of DHL Express Austria
Andrea Kopecky (31) assumes management of production division at DHL Express in Guntramsdorf The „Express“ specialist Andrea Kopecky has joined the management board of DHL Express (Austria). The 31 years old manager is the first woman to take over the management of the production division at the company headquarters in Guntramsdorf. Since November the Lower Austrian is in charge of the complete operations management (collection to delivery, short and long distance scheduled transport as well as warehouse and terminal handling). The woman from Wiener Neustadt has ten years of experience within the company in the fields of controlling and marketing. In 2011 two new challenges are waiting for Andrea Kopecky. The leading provider of air freight express services in Austria will join the so far separately operating terminals Guntramsdorf and Vienna to a new large terminal at the first named location next spring.
