Förster Transporte puts its first “Euro VI“ truck into service

Förster Transporte from Groß-Enzersdorf underlines its environmental consciousness and offers a new swap body for boat transportations
 
With the acquisition of the first truck with "Euro VI" engine, Forester Transporte- und HandelsgmbH heralded a new era. The new vehicle is a Mercedes-Benz Actros truck. The vehicle meets the criteria for the transport of various swap bodies. "With the ‘Euro VI‘-standard, we can drive with lower emission levels," the family company announces in a press release. The main part of the fleet meets the environmental standard "Euro V".
 
Measures for environmental protection have high priority with the company founded in 1946. The Förster Transporte’s 41 employees – including 35 drivers – are mainly providing services in the areas of refrigerated transport, transport of machinery and of hazardous materials. The unit lately added to the fleet is a swap body for boat transportations, designed together with the Harbeck company. The vehicle is designed for the transport of boat sizes from 18 to 31 feet with a maximum height of 3.1 meters.
