DB Schenker continues expansion in Bulgaria

DB Schenker opens new logistics terminal in Plovdiv and is to strengthen its presence in Ruse
 
Expansion of DB Schenker Logistics in Bulgaria continues. The subsidiary Schenker EOOD has recently opened the new logistics terminal in Plovdiv. The site is in a densely built-up industrial and commercial zone, in the district of Radinovo, close to the major motorway Trakia, linking the capital Sofia to the Black Sea and the neighbouring country. The warehouse of the new object covers 2,000m² and is equipped with six loading platforms.
 
Schenker EOOD is continuously expanding its business capacities. An inaugural ceremony will soon take place at their location in Ruse. The office has recently been moved to a new, modern site. In the last few months Schenker EOOD has also opened new sites in the ports of Varna and Burgas.
 
Schenker EOOD has seven locations in Bulgaria and employs about 175 persons. The offer covers the entire service range of DB Schenker Logistics in the segments truck and railway transport, air and ocean freight as well as contract logistics.
