G. Englmayer is CargoLine „partner of the year international“

General cargo cooperation CargoLine: quality of interface-scannings and increase of general cargo capacities has made G. Englmayer Spedition the winner in an internal quality ranking

An Austrian forwarder is „partner of the year international“ of the general cargo cooperation CargoLine. The lead in the internal quality ranking went to Spedition G. Englmayer in Wels (Upper Austria), runner-up was the Dutch Partner Rotra, third place went to Interfracht in Switzerland. The network honoured the winners during their international meeting of partners in Istanbul last week.

„Since G. Englmayer joined CargoLine in 2003, a lot has changed.  With the help of strong partners all over Europe, the CIS, the Far and Middle East and the Maghreb region, we now dispose of an end-to-end  cross-border shipment tracking system and we work according to the same quality standards. G. Engelmayer Spedition has contributed significantly to this development and therefore earned this award”, says Bernd Höppner, deputy general manager for CargoLine and responsible for international road transports.

G. Engelmayer Spedition deserves special commendation with regard to the quality of the interface-scanning, the percentual increase in shipment volumes within the cooperation and the interactive use of the shipment tracking tool Cepra 3.0. The runner-up in the ranking, Rotra, is among the most innovative companies in the Netherlands, especially interested in sustainability and one of its distinguishing features is the high degree of network integration with other CargoLiners. Interfracht, the 2011 winner, was responsible for many pick-up contracts for the network in 2013 and has shown a lot of commitment in the working committees of the cooperation.

„Our national franchisees have competed for the title „partner of the year“ for many years, since 2011 there were also many CargoLiners among them. If everybody improves individually, the network as a whole profits, and this benefits our customers”, Bernd Höpper explains.

For the award of this title „partner of the year“, the following services are assessed each year: delivery quota according to prescribed quality and time, quality of the interface-scanning to package tracking, absolute shipment numbers and their percentual increases compared with last year’s figures, commitment of the teams in working committees and decision-making boards with the network partners.

CargoLine GmbH & Co. KG with headquarters in Frankfurt (Main) stands for standardised and systematised general cargo traffic in Germany and Europe. Founded in 1993, 45 medium-sized system partners which are complemented by high-performance international partners, make up the nation-wide network today.
