Gebrüder Weiss is fiercely expanding in Eastern Europe
Large investments into expansion of Gebrüder Weiss branches in Sofia and Brno in the pipeline
According to a report of the newspaper WirtschaftsBlatt Regional (Vorarlberg) in its Wednesday edition, the transport and logistics specialist Gebrüder Weiss is intending to invest a total of about EUR eleven million into the expansion of its branches in Sofia and Brno. In both cases the existing site had become too small to accommodate the company’s positive business development.
Completion of the new site in Sofia is scheduled for the end of 2014; the first turn of the sod in Brno is to be taken in spring 2014. Gebrüder Weiss sees a high potential for development due to geographic junctions at both locations.
